AI Literacy Is the New Digital Literacy
AI literacy is becoming a baseline skill for students, teachers, teams, and founders who need to work with intelligent tools safely.
AI literacy does not mean everyone must become a machine learning engineer. It means people should understand what AI can do, where it fails, and how to use it responsibly.
The first layer is language. Learners should know the difference between automation, machine learning, generative AI, chatbots, agents, and retrieval systems.
The second layer is judgment. AI can draft, summarize, classify, and suggest, but users still need to check sources, spot hallucinations, protect privacy, and make final decisions.
The third layer is creation. When learners build small projects, they stop treating AI as magic and start seeing it as a design material.
